Welcome!

Hi everyone! This is Julieann, the Vegan Cheese Lady, and I am so happy to welcome you here! I run a small local business in Lafayette (IN).

My focus is on making artisan vegan cheeses as well as vegan dishes that include a variety of vegan meats I make from scratch. My goal is to offer vegans more than just a salad, but a real vegan meal that tastes great. I encourage non-vegans to give plant based cheese and meats a try.

I  sell my products at the downtown Lafayette Farmer’s Market on some Saturdays (to be announced), Purdue’s Farmers Market on Thursdays, Indianapolis Original Farmers Market on some Wednesdays (to be announced), & Broadripple Farmers Market on some Saturdays (to be announced).  I try to be present at various other local and regional events as well and will post announcements about those on my calendar page &  my Facebook page.

I am a master gardener and grow my own herbs like dill and basil, weather permitting of course. Therefore, you will often find fresh herbs in my vegan cheeses, which makes them extra flavorsome! I am proud of my family’s Indiana heritage and look forward to making you feel like family whenever you contact us! I will also proudly serve all communities!

The vegan cheeses that I bring to the farmers markets vary from week to week. I try to make sure that at least one of the cheeses that I bring is soy free and nut free so as to best serve my clients with food sensitivities.

In case you are looking for a specific cheese, make sure to check my weekly Facebook announcement about the cheeses that I will have on offer for that specific Farmers Market. I will gladly take your orders for vegan cheeses and other vegan products. You can place those orders by phone (765-543-5110), thru FB, or in person at any farmer’s market.
